Concerning the Lensic Box Office 2009 Ticketing
On behalf of the The Kiwanis Club of Santa Fe, our members and other volunteers who helped in this years Zozobra Event, we wish to thank the attendees and sponsors. All proceeds of the event , after expenses, will fund scholarships, donations to support organizations that benefit the youth of the Santa Fe area, and Kiwanis youth activities such as the Key Clubs at Santa Fe High School and the Santa Fe Indian School.
We regret any inconvenience due to long lines at the Lensic Theater Box Office. The decision to use the Lensic as the main outlet for advance sales saved money, volunteer labor and provided accountability and data needed by the club and government officials to better ensure safety at the event. Additionally it provided a means for potential out of town attendees to obtain advance tickets. Use of additional local outlets for advance ticket sales will be considered in planning the 2010 Event.
